on the cusp

Well so much for blogging every day last week. Perhaps the run up to Christmas is not the time to make that sort of resolution.

I'm working through the Chrimbo Limbo this year, and that really is how things feel at the moment. There is so much stuff that is just on the edge.

Woolly's annual KAL finished a month ago. There are just a few ends to weave in, and Finishing Glory shall be mine. Mwah ha haaa!

I'm frustratingly close to being able to paint the vestibule, but am finding it impossible to get a nice finish on the bit that Bob replastered before he left. I might have to get some advice in. I'm in the process of roughing up all the gloss ready to paint, and have ordered a wee sander to help things along. I can't wait to get the paint on, but keep finding new holes to fill. Where do you stop?

Walness just needs one more sleeve, a neck band, and a bit more on the bottom. When you say it like that it sounds quite a lot, but when I put it on last night it felt nearly finished. I have a que of films to watch in preparation for the marathon knitting session required to have this finished by the new year.

I'm going to duck back below the parapet now, so you can swing buy next week for something interesting to see.
